Our OT team is always on the lookout for dynamite, experienced pediatric therapists. We are currently looking for a part-time per diem therapist to work between 3:00 and 7:00 pm Monday-Thursday and/or on Sundays any time. If  you are interested in a pediatric occupational therapy position that is as rewarding as it is challenging, this is an incredible opportunity to join a dynamic team of experienced cutting-edge occupational therapists and make a difference in the lives of children with disabilities and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive evaluations and screenings

  • Strategize and develop treatment plans for each patient in collaboration with primary caretakers

  • Provide individual OT treatment session tailored to the individual needs of the child and family

  • Develop home exercise programs and sensory diets as needed

  • Build and maintain relationships with primary caretakers and other professionals working with the child to ensure an effective, smooth and positive patient experience

  • Communicate with families on a regular basis, when and where the primary caretaker is available. This can take as much creativity as treatment planning

Required Skills

  • NBCOT certification

  • New Jersey OTR or COTA license

  • 3+ years experience working with a pediatric population, preferably  in a sensory gym or an outpatient setting

  • Strong interpersonal skills to team with clients and the close knit POTS staff

  • Creativity, strong  problem solving skills and a drive to incorporate fresh ideas into treatment

  • An extremely positive attitude and a strong client focus
