POTS is the premier pediatric occupational therapy practice in Bergen County, providing cutting edge Occupational Therapy services to infants, children and their families since 1991. It was founded by Dr. Chaye Lamm Warburg.
Our warm, nurturing atmosphere is designed to put parents and children at ease and our upbeat décor and fun equipment is designed to appeal to the most discriminating child. Our goal is to prepare children for the variety of roles they must assume, from achieving developmental milestones such as rolling over, sitting and cruising, to stringing beads, doing puzzles, and playing pretend, and ultimately to eating independently, dressing, participating in circle time, having friends, participating in sports, writing and doing homework.
"We are committed to empowering each child to maximize his/her potential through cutting edge occupational therapy evaluation and treatment services and to provide parents with the tools to prepare their children to meet the challenges and experience the joys of childhood."
We welcome the opportunity to collaborate with all of the family members involved in your child’s life, the school, other professionals, after-school programs and summer camp. Parents, grandparents and caregivers are encouraged to participate in sessions. Home programs are developed to support the goals of therapy, in a manner consistent with the needs of the family. A sensory diet can be introduced to help the child’s day run more smoothly at home and/or in school, and when needed, modifications and strategies are offered to facilitate independence in self-care skills and other daily activities. Aqua OT is offered as a unique venue for occupational therapy, and swimming lessons are available for children with special needs.

We’re so thrilled to have found Kiddie for our daughter. Not only is it an incredibly supportive environment for working parents, with flexible daycare options, but the teachers are also so caring and patient with the children. We are happy with Kiddie.
Our experience at POTS has been extraordinary. The therapists are highly skilled, and apply their art in a way that resonates with each individual child. They are warm and easy to talk to, and take the time to ensure that each child advances and grows, both every day and in the long-term. The therapists really give of themselves both to the children and the parents, and it shows. POTS’s director, Dr. Chaye Lamm Warburg, is likewise exceptional. She listens carefully and evaluates thoroughly in order to craft a tailor-made program for each child. Furthermore, she shares with parents a wealth of information about everything related to children’s needs and skills, and is accessible seemingly day or night. When we called her with a specific concern, she called us back within the hour from many miles away (on her vacation). We are grateful to POTS and Dr. Warburg for enabling our children to hone fundamental skills, and for sharing with us their expertise with a smile.
